Gelling agents and viscosifiers ensure the correct placement of proppants in hydraulic fracturing. 

When used in combination with acids, they create good rheology for matrix stimulation treatments. We provide a range ofAlcomer® branded products which are compatible gelling agents for acid-based fluids often used in acid fracturing.
